It’s Osteria Mucca’s final bake sale for 2025 on Saturday, 25 October. To celebrate the last sale, the Newtown venue (run by Paisano & Daughters), will host a one-off collaboration with their very own Lauren Eldridge, and social enterprise Two Good Co.
Fresh from being named Chef of the Year in the 2026 Good Food Guide Awards, Lauren Eldridge will be behind the oven, baking a line-up inspired by Sweet Memories, Two Good Co’s new four-part cookbook series celebrating desserts, nostalgia and connection. Customers will be able to get their hands on Lauren’s passionfruit and raspberry meringue tarts, as well as crowd favourites that regulars queue for every month.
The bake sale marks the release of Sweet Memories, which features recipes from some of the biggest names in food, including Nigella Lawson, Neil Perry, Maggie Beer and Eldridge herself. The cookbook is a celebration of how food can bring people together, something Two Good Co knows well.
Half of all profits from the collection go straight back into the organisation’s employment and training programs for women rebuilding their lives after domestic violence, homelessness and hardship.
