Sydney is set to be awash with French flair from 11–14 July 2024, as the Bastille Festival Sydney returns to Circular Quay. This iconic event, now the largest French cultural celebration outside of France, attracts over 650,000 attendees each year. The 2024 festival promises to be the most spectacular yet, blending the magic of French culture with the excitement of the Paris Olympics.

The Bastille Olympic Village is at the heart of this year’s festival, a tribute to the forthcoming Paris Olympics. The village will whisk visitors to the heart of Paris, complete with awe-inspiring 3D sculptures of iconic landmarks, including a magnificent 6-metre-high replica of the Eiffel Tower.

The Bastille Festival features 124 free shows across seven sites, with 344 artists delivering live music, DJ sets, dance classes, and more. Jazz enthusiasts can look forward to the soulful tunes of Paris to Rio Jazz, the Anna Weaving Collective, and the playful Coucou Zazous. Special performances by Daniele Montarulo and Bruno Gerhard will recreate the intimate atmosphere of a Parisian jazz café.

The festival will be alive with diverse performances reflecting the vibrancy of global music and dance. From the energetic beats of La Faya to the nostalgic moves of swing dancing, the Brazilian rhythms of Sydney Samba, and the passionate expressions of Los Carmonas Flamenco.
