The Brookie Trail, a buzzing hub of breweries and distilleries on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, is turning up the festive cheer this December with ‘Brookie Brights’. Throughout December, Brookvale will transform into a Christmas playground with dazzling light shows, lively events, and plenty to entertain adults and kids.
Seven venues – 7th Day Brewery, Dad & Dave’s, Bucketty’s, Manly Spirits, Goodradigbee, Freshwater Brewing and Sale Pepe – are pulling out all the stops to create a Christmas atmosphere with twinkling lights, seasonal brews, festive cocktails, and a lineup of events that cater to everyone.
A Month of Festivities
Wander through the breweries illuminated by spectacular light displays that create a perfect backdrop for family photos or a laid-back evening with friends. Enjoy live music from local talents like Saskia Walsh or take in the festive silent disco on 20 December.
Santa’s making an appearance in ways you’ve never seen before. Across the venues, you’ll find everything from the classic jolly man himself to cheekier variations like Bad Santa and Sexy Santa. Snap a photo with them all for some holiday laughs.
Foodies and drink enthusiasts are in for a treat. Exclusive holiday-themed menus feature creations like barrel-aged nitro stout and festive cocktails. And don’t miss out on special deals – collect stamps from all seven venues to enjoy a pint for the price of a middy.
Fun for Everyone
Family-friendly activities like beer garden boules and free foosball add a playful touch, while Freshwater Brewing sweetens the deal with free kids’ meals every Sunday. For those with a competitive streak, check out Bad Santa Bingo and Christmas Trivia.
The Christmas market on December 16 is another highlight, showcasing local brands such as Janga Wetsuits, Cici Swimwear, and Boardsox. With live music, drink specials, and the launch of a new E.P., it’s the perfect spot to tick off your holiday shopping list while soaking up the festive vibe.
