In honour of Bastille Day on Friday 14th July, Nick Hildebrandt and the team at Monopole have created a French-themed shared-style menu that will be available on Friday 14th July and Saturday 15th July for $110 per person. An extensive French by-the-glass list will also be available for both lunch and dinner to help celebrate Bastille Day.
Guests will enjoy dishes such as confit duck leg with frisée, currant grape and comte; Jacks Creek wagyu beef bourguignon and hazelnut mille feuille with crème fraiche ice cream.
Plus, for the whole month of July, in celebration of Bastille Day, guests at Monopole will be transported to the Côtes du Jura to sample the super rare wines of cult Jura producer Jean-François Ganevat. With Australia’s deepest collection of Ganevat, Monopole will be offering wine enthusiasts an opportunity to taste some of the most sought-after and rare wines in the world, produced by this Jura originalist. There will be Ganevat wine flights, ten Ganevats by the glass, and more than 70 bottles available with vintages from the past decade.

Menu: The menu includes French classics including Tiger Prawn Vol au Vent with Dill and Wakame, Chicken Liver Parfait with Blood Orange and Chervil, Confit Duck Leg with Frisée, Currant Grape and Comte, and to finish, Hazelnut Mille Feuille with Crème Fraiche Ice Cream. They’ll also be offering an escargot toast as an additional menu item.
