Sydney-based social enterprise Two Good Co. has announced that celebrated chef and author Christine Manfield will be the second chef in its LOAM X Two Good Chef Dinner Series.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20th, at LOAM, at the Ace Hotel in Sydney.

Tickets for the dinner featuring Christine Manfield are priced at $110 per person. The event includes a multi-course menu designed by Christine, wines by Balmy Nights, and a donation to support Two Good’s mission to aid women in rebuilding their self-worth and independence after experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, and complex trauma.

As the second chef in the Two Good X LOAM series, Christine will present a unique menu reflecting the theme ‘do more with less’. Known for her culinary expertise, Christine has crafted a menu that combines indigenous ingredients with globally inspired flavours, aligning with Two Good’s ethos of sharing simple yet delicious food prepared with love.

The menu, a collaboration between Christine and the LOAM team, features dishes such as warrigal leaf tempura with saltbush and furikake salt, pea-stuffed eggplant with roti, spiced sea mullet with beetroot coconut relish and coconut rice, and pavlova puff with lemon cream and Davidson plum for dessert.

Christine’s spiced sea mullet and pavlova puff dishes will be available as monthly specials at LOAM until the end of April, with $2 from each dish sold being donated to Two Good.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Two Good on their latest cookbook, and I’m excited to continue our partnership, this time alongside the wonderful team at LOAM. The menu I’ve created is all about simple, meaningful food, and I hope it fosters a sense of community and connection amongst our guests,” says Christine.

The quarterly dinner series was introduced in October 2023 to coincide with the release of Two Good’s third cookbook, Change The Course. It continues quarterly, with renowned chefs and cooks, including the inaugural event with Julia Busuttil Nishimura, collaborating with LOAM to create special menus centred around the cookbook’s theme of ‘do more with less’.
