“I wanted to craft a menu that felt both comforting and communal. That sense of community and support is exactly what Two Good offers to women in need through their food and programs. I’m incredibly proud to support this remarkable organisation by doing what I love most—feeding people,” says Danielle.

Celebrating Culinary Creativity and Social Good

This event marks the third in the ongoing quarterly Chef Dinner Series, which began in October 2023 with the launch of Two Good’s third cookbook, Change The Course. The series honours the cookbook’s central theme of ‘do more with less’. As the latest chef in the Two Good X LOAM series, Danielle Alvarez, culinary director of the Yallamundi Rooms at the Sydney Opera House and former founding chef of the acclaimed Sydney restaurant Fred’s, will present a unique menu showcasing her passion for seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients.

The specially designed menu includes dishes such as anchovy zeppole with lemon and chili, fish crudo with blood orange and new season olive oil, saffron lasagnette with spiced pork and fennel ragu, radicchio salad with Meyer lemon and Parmigiano, and chocolate tiramisu. Notably, Danielle’s lasagnette and salad dishes will remain available as monthly specials at LOAM throughout July, with $2 from each dish sold being donated to Two Good.

Rob Caslick, founder of Two Good says, “Danielle’s values align perfectly with those of Two Good, and we are honoured to have her lead the next instalment of our Chef Dinner Series. Those who have enjoyed Danielle’s cooking know how delicious and thoughtfully prepared it is. Her approach to wholesome, nourishing food prepared with care and respect embodies the essence of this event.”

The LOAM X Two Good Dinner Series has previously featured esteemed chefs like Julia Busuttil Nishimura and Christine Manfield, with each event emphasising the cookbook’s theme of ‘do more with less’.
