Poetica, Sydney’s latest sophisticated and laid-back destination for contemporary dining has announced Saturday lunches with free-flowing indulgence, designed for groups of four or more. Enjoy a sumptuous three-course shared meal accompanied by bottomless premium wines, cocktails, and beer for two hours.
The sommelier has curated a selection of five different wines to choose from including a delightful 2016 vintage Chandon sparkling; Shaw & Smith sauvignon blanc; Shadowfax Chardonnay; Escarpment Pinot Noir; and Spinifex Shiraz. Otherwise, there is a choice of three cocktails: espresso martini; Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz spritz; and a tropical vibes spiked punch called To My Friends.
Soak it all up with the moreish wood-fired focaccia di recco with caper, chilli, gruyere; delicate scallops with yuzu kosho and celery; broad bean salad with ricotta and pickled lemon; and raw beef with green mustard and deliciously crispy onions. Mains include the melt-in-your-mouth swordfish aged on the bone and topped with horseradish; lamb shoulder with fennel and rhubarb; and smoky sugarloaf cabbage with Biquinho peppers and fried garlic.
Finish off with the uber-refreshing mandarin granita and crispy ginger then the decadent brown butter cake with house made apple ice cream.

Grab the gang for serious summer Italo Disco rooftop vibes every Saturday afternoon from 30 September. The Abercrombie’s rooftop cocktail lounge, Casa Rosa, is hosting free-flow lunches with DJs playing Italo Disco tunes all afternoon.

Rosé à Volonté bottomless French rosé lunch
Loulou’s has something for everyone. Soak up the sunshine on the terrace or get cosy in a booth inside and enjoy a shared menu of French-fare and two hours of flowing Côtes de Provence rosé. Begin with fresh bread and butter from Loulou’s Boulangerie next door alongside pommes dauphines with creme fraiche; chicken liver parfait served with warm brioche; and salade with beetroot dressed with bleu de basque (blue cheese dressing). Then, savour the tasty grilled spatchcock with sauce colbert and a whole roasted rainbow trout with sauce Provencal for mains.

Jukebox Bottomless at Rekodo
It’s time to up the tempo of your weekend lunch catch ups with the girls or your music-loving mates. Rekodo Restaurant & Vinyl Bar at Barangaroo House is launching Jukebox Bottomless on weekends with flowing watermelon margaritas, seasonal spritzes, prosecco, plus you get to be the jukebox and select the music. Set the tone of the day with Rekōdo’s collection of absolute banger vinyls, ready for you to make your selection. Will it be Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody’, Sade’s ‘Smooth Operator’, or Abba’s ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)’?
Best of all, Jukebox Bottomless doesn’t require a set menu. Simply spend $50 per person on any food and you can add the two hours of bottomless cocktails and bubbles for $75 per person. Perfect if you are up for bar snacks like the must-try DIY okonomi temaki tuna hand roll or prawn sando. If you are up for a feast then head chef and vinyl-lover, Tara Chua, serves up a playlist of Japanese-inspired dishes that hit the senses. Bring me Margys at the Sheaf
Every Saturday, gather four or more of your favourite people for an afternoon in the Sheaf’s garden sipping on bottomless margys, plus a delicious array of share boards. Keep the good times rolling all the way into the evening with DJs and live music from 5pm.
There are four bottomless margys to choose from – Tommy’s; chilli; watermelon; and mango. The share menu includes Josie’s marinated olives; warm bread; roast peppers with capers, basil and balsamic; grilled saganaki with truffle honeycomb and thyme; truffled bechamel croquettes with parmesan and pesto; crispy calamari with nori and vinegar salt & aioli; and thick-cut chips.
