Melbourne artist, Rone (Tyrone White), will stage his first New South Wales exhibition this May, transforming a Marrickville gallery into an immersive installation created in partnership with Hendrick’s Gin.
Hendrick’s Presents: Another TIME by Rone runs for two days only on 8 and 9 May at COMA Gallery, marking the launch of the new gin expression Another Hendrick’s from Hendrick’s Gin.

The exhibition will rework elements from Rone’s large-scale installation TIME, which drew more than 140,000 visitors in Melbourne. His work is recognised for placing striking female portraits inside decaying interiors, creating tension between beauty and deterioration. That same interest, in contrast, shaped this collaboration.
Inside the gallery, visitors will move through a ‘backstage’ style environment designed to feel like stepping onto a theatre set. The installation gradually shifts the viewer’s perspective, so the audience becomes part of the scene rather than simply observing it. Subtle references to the new gin appear throughout the space, encouraging people to look closely at the details embedded in the design.
The exhibition was influenced by the flavour profile of Another Hendrick’s, which builds on the brand’s familiar rose and cucumber base with orange blossom and cacao. Rone says the contrast between the brighter citrus notes and the deeper cacao flavours informed how he developed the installation from the original backstage concept.
Hendrick’s marketing team saw a natural alignment with the artist’s approach. The new expression was created around opposing flavours working together, and the exhibition translates that idea visually through light, shadow and unexpected perspectives.
Entry to the exhibition is free, though numbers are limited. Guests who secure tickets will be served a Hendrick’s spritz, as well as orange and chocolate-flavoured popcorn, a pairing designed to mirror the gin’s citrus and cacao notes.
Pre-registration for priority ticket access opens on 8 April, with general release from 23 April.
