Henrietta, the charcoal-loving, flame-kissed favourite from Surry Hills, has branched out and landed in the west, bringing her signature mix of Middle Eastern flavours and Aussie flair to Parramatta Square.
Henrietta has built a cult following for a reason – her menu is fiery in both flavour and attitude. The new Parramatta location seats 80 indoors and 20 alfresco, delivering the same vibrant energy that made her Surry Hills venue such a hit. And if you’re looking to take the party elsewhere, catering is now on the menu.

The heart of Henrietta’s menu is, of course, her legendary charcoal chicken, cooked over an open flame and served with all the essentials: toum, pickles, Lebanese bread, and sides. But Parramatta diners get a little something extra. Exclusive to this new outpost, you’ll find the Sujuk Arayes – crispy pita stuffed with spiced sujuk – and the Sumac Salmon, served with tomato kisir and Aleppo pepper. Finish it off with the Beirut Chocolate, a sweet mix of pistachio kataifi and chocolate crumb.

Luca Lonati, Executive Chef at Henrietta says cooking over charcoal is what makes Henrietta special. “It’s not just about the technique - it’s about the flavour, the experience, and the energy it brings to the kitchen. The intense heat caramelises, chars, and enhances every ingredient, creating deep, smoky, rich flavours you just can’t get any other way.”
And as for drinks, Henrietta’s bar is stocked with a punchy cocktail list, local brews, and refreshing non-alcoholic options. Why not order a Sour Cherry Negroni (Campari, cherry vermouth, pomegranate), a Spicy Passionfruit Margarita (chilli-infused tequila, passionfruit, sumac, lime), or a Lychee Cosmo (vodka, lychee, pomegranate, lime) to accompany that tasty chicken?
Taking over the former Cicciabella site, the new Henrietta blends warm wood textures with sleek metal finishes, creating a space that’s both stylish and relaxed. The vibe? Fun, bold, and full of energy – just like Henrietta herself.
And because no grand opening is complete without a giveaway, Henrietta is shouting lunch on Tuesday, 8 April. Be one of the first 200 through the door from 12pm, and you’ll score a free wrap, no strings attached.
