Sydney is set to become a haven for food enthusiasts from September 27th to 29th, 2024, as the ICC plays host to two massive culinary events: the Home Cooking Show and the Cake, Bake & Sweets Show. These events promise a weekend brimming with interactive workshops, top tips from baking legends and live demonstrations.

A Feast for the Senses

Visitors will have the chance to explore a range of new food products and beverages while learning from some of the best in the business. With general admission for adults starting at $39 (children 6-12 years old $19, and concession $34), the event offers an accessible opportunity for food lovers to dive into the world of home cooking and baking over the weekend.

Show Highlights

The Super Theatre, Creative Kitchen Stage, and Cake Decorating Stage will host top-tier chefs and bakers, providing invaluable insights and techniques. Visitors can expect to be inspired by live demonstrations and cooking competitions, including the highly anticipated Australian leg of the World Food Championships. Competitors will vie in categories like Dessert, Seafood, and Vegetarian, with winners earning a 'golden ticket' to the World Championship Finals in Indianapolis, where they could win the grand prize of $150,000 USD and the prestigious title of ‘World Food Champion.’

The Wine & Cheese Alley and Flavours of the World Stage are set to be major attractions, featuring authentic multicultural cuisine presented by chefs from various nationalities. Home cooks will also have the chance to participate in a 'mystery box challenge,' adding an exciting competitive edge to the event.

The Art of Cake Competition is another highlight, showcasing Australia’s most talented cake decorators and home bakers. Participants will compete for cash prizes and sponsored gifts, and visitors can marvel at the intricate designs in a captivating cake maze.
