After the success of Colombo Social's first Mum Cha event featuring renowned chef Dan Hong, anticipation is high for the second event. This time, Melbourne’s own Charlie Carrington, the founder and executive chef of the acclaimed Atlas Dining, is set to bring his culinary prowess to the event. Charlie Carrington and his mother, Jacquie Carrington, will join forces with Shaun and Shiranie Christie-David on Saturday, 27 July, to present an 8-course menu. This special lunch, designed for just 40 guests, promises a warm and intimate atmosphere, perfect for fostering connections and celebrating the joyous union of food and family.
The event’s meticulously crafted menu showcases an exciting blend of flavours. The Carrington duo will offer dishes like Bolognaise San Choy Bao, Tacos, Chicken Kiev, and Sticky Date Pudding. Meanwhile, Shaun and Shiranie’s contributions include Beef Patties, Tuna Cutlets, Seeni Sambol Dumplings, and Dhal Sandwiches. Each $150 ticket includes these delectable eight dishes, a welcoming cocktail, and unlimited red and white wines, ensuring a delightful experience for all attendees.
