This year’s Sydney Fringe Festival is turning up the volume with the arrival of the 27 Club, a high-energy rock spectacle that has already taken the Adelaide Fringe by storm. For the first time ever, Sydney audiences will have the chance to experience this electrifying tribute to some of rock 'n' roll's most iconic figures.
Running from August 30 to September 29, this music extravaganza will set the Sydney Spiegeltent ablaze with the sounds and stories of legendary artists.

Prepare to be transported into the world of rock legends like Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, and Jimi Hendrix. These iconic artists, who tragically left us at the age of 27, will be brought back to life by some of Australia’s top rock performers. Featuring powerhouse talents such as Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus), Kevin Mitchell (Jebediah), Carla Lippis (Mondo Psycho), Dusty Lee Stephensen (Wanderers), Justin Burford (End of Fashion, Rock of Ages), Virginia Lillye (The Voice), and Bek Jensen, this show promises an unforgettable night of music and storytelling.
“Every song in this show is a banger. We have so much fun performing this show, the cast knows how to put on a high-octane performance and the crowd is right there with us, singing, crying, laughing, dancing… the show delivers on all fronts,” says singer and guitarist Sarah McLeod.
“27 Club is a heartfelt tribute to the icons who have left an indelible mark on music history. We’re not just putting on a gig, we're creating a full show experience that celebrates the raw power and timeless influence of these music legends," says 27 Club’s Creative Producer Zac Tyler.
Don't miss your chance to be part of a night that pays homage to the voices that defined generations.
