LG Electronics Australia (LG) has revealed its 2024 TV lineup featuring the new LG webOS 24 operating system, promising a personalised experience for users. From TVs for those on the go to those who live for full cinematic experiences, there’s something for everyone across a range of budgets. 

The system ensures up to five years of updates and enhancements through the LG Re:New program. Leading the 2024 lineup are the flagship LG G4 OLED evo TV and the innovative LG M4 OLED evo TV, the premium LG C4 OLED evo TV, QNED, and lifestyle screens including the StanbyME Go.

Users can create up to 10 profiles for tailored experiences, with personalised recommendations and easy access to favourite content apps. LG Quick Cards facilitate quick app access, while LG Smart TVs recognise users’ voices for personalised recommendations across profiles.

The newest LG TVs now support Google Chromecast built-in and Apple AirPlay, making streaming content from Android and iOS devices easier. With these updates, LG TV users can conveniently access their favourite content. The Multi View feature on LG TVs has been improved to prevent clashes with live streaming, allowing users to simultaneously split the screen and watch programs from different sources.

For an optimal movie viewing experience, the 2024 LG OLED TV range offers features like FILMMAKER MODETM and Dolby Vision. Endorsed by top directors in Hollywood, FILMMAKER MODE™ ensures that images are presented as intended. By deactivating specific post-processing effects like motion smoothing, noise reduction, and sharpening, while maintaining accurate aspect ratios, colours, and frame rates, LG TVs equipped with FILMMAKER MODE™ faithfully reproduce the director’s original vision.

As sports enthusiasts anticipate a year of exciting events, the 2024 LG QNED TV range delivers an immersive viewing experience with advanced colour technologies, providing clear and vibrant pictures.

The 2024 LG Lifestyle screen range is designed to seamlessly blend into consumers’ lives, offering sleek designs and features like the LG OLED evo M4 with 4K picture and sound quality, Zero Connect Box, and One Wall Design for a modern look. 

The new StanbyME Go offers portable entertainment with a Full HD screen for those on the go. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, this model comes with a built-in battery, screen protection, and speakers, making it ideal for activities such as watching movies or playing games. The StanbyME Go screen offers versatility, allowing users to adjust its height, orientation, and viewing angle to suit various preferences and needs. Pricing is yet to be released and the Go will be available in September 2024. 

LG 2024 TV range StanbyME Go

The LG StanbyME is a portable screen with a 27-inch FHD touchscreen and a rechargeable battery. It supports near-field communication technology (NFC) compatibility, allowing users to mirror content from NFC-enabled devices like phones, tablets, or laptops via the LG ThinQ app. Users can tap the device against the NFC logo on the back of the screen to initiate the mirroring process. The screen offers various adjustment options, including rotation up to 180°, swivel up to 130°, tilt up to 50°, and vertical movement of up to 20cm. The LG StanbyME is available now for $1,999.
