From March 21 to April 6, the sun-drenched flavours of a Greek summer will find a home at Woolloomooloo Wharf, as Manta welcomes the culinary mastery of Bungalow 7’s executive chef Ntinos Fotinakis. Known for his time alongside Heston Blumenthal and under the guidance of Michelin-starred Jacques Le Divellec, Fotinakis is set to transform Manta into a vibrant seaside taverna, bringing an immersive dining experience that captures the heart of Greek hospitality.

Every detail is crafted to make diners feel as if they’ve been whisked away to the Mediterranean. The menu blends Greek tradition with modern culinary techniques while paying homage to Manta’s commitment to showcasing Sydney’s best local produce.

Enjoy mezze dishes including moussaka croquettes, taramasalata infused with smoked yuzu, and an inventive take on spanakorizo in the form of gyoza. For the main event, dishes like lamb shoulder, short rib pasta, and snapper with potato skordalia are on offer. The standout is of course the Astakomakaronada – live eastern rock lobster tossed with linguine, tomato, and extra virgin olive oil.
To complete the experience, the drinks list highlights the best of Greece, featuring thoughtfully crafted ouzo and mastiha cocktails, as well as native Assyrtiko and Moschofilero wines.
