Marcello Polifrone – head chef of Harvest Newrybar – is Chef of The Month for the Two Good Co Chef of the Month program.

Marcello, who assumed the role of head chef at Harvest Newrybar in 2023, boasts an impressive culinary repertoire, having honed his skills in some of the top restaurants across NSW including Pilu, Quay, and Sister’s Rock at Borrodell Estate. Emphasising seasonality, locality, and freshness, Marcello’s culinary ethos shines through in the menu he curated for Two Good this month.

Marcello’s menu which is available throughout May includes:

  • Classic salami, cheese, tomato & basil toastie
  • Grilled chicken salad with apple, pomegranate and a Thai vinaigrette
  • Macadamia caramel slice with dark chocolate & praline
Marcello Polifrone is Two Good's Chef of the month

Through the Chef of the Month (COTM) program, social enterprise Two Good partners with top chefs who create delicious menus that are cooked and served at their cafe in Darlinghurst’s Yirranma Place, and are also available to purchase through their catering service. All proceeds from the sales will help at-risk women affected by domestic violence, homelessness and trauma find employment.
