Two Sydney favourites, Anason and Maydanoz have announced their set menus, just in time for end-of-year work celebrations. Set menus are an excellent option for larger gatherings and it takes the hassle out of guessing how much everyone owes once the festivities are over.

Maydanoz – $99 set menu
Located in Sydney’s bustling CBD, both Maydanoz’ menu and interiors are influenced by the Aegean Turkish coast. Their set menu is $99 p/p. Highlights include the barbecued Tilba haloumi with thyme honey and sesame and the cabbage kebab with harissa labna. Maydanoz is ideal for vegetarians and groups with dietary requirements with its plant-based options.

Anason – $120 set menu
Situated at Barangaroo wharf with stunning harbour views, Anason is the ideal setting for a long lunch. The venue’s design reflects the modern side of Istanbul with the typical Bosphorus Blue being prominent all around the restaurant.
Standouts from the $120 p/p set menu include the octopus with tarhana and pickled chillies, as well as the Hunkar Begendi, lamb loin and smoked eggplant puree. Add a Turkish wine pairing to your meal for just $49.
