Moonlight Cinema has released its March 2026 Sydney program, and Centennial Parklands is about to become your go-to spot for warm nights, picnic rugs and a solid run of new releases, awards-season films and throwback favourites.

Running at the Belvedere Amphitheatre until 5 April, the outdoor cinema series brings together some of the most talked-about titles of the season alongside crowd-pleasers that are made for watching under the stars.

March kicks off with a strong mix of previews and fresh releases. Sydney audiences can catch GOAT early on 6 March, an animated sports comedy about an underdog chasing their moment. There’s also a preview of Reminders of Him on 11 March, adapted from Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, plus Disney and Pixar’s Hoppers arriving on 21 March, a fast-paced adventure set in the animal kingdom.

Music fans can book in for The Moment, Charli xcx’s mockumentary, screening in Sydney on its day of release (5 March). For those drawn to darker, more dramatic storytelling, Wuthering Heights screens multiple times across the month, while post-Oscars picks including One Battle After Another, Hamnet, Marty Supreme and Sinners round out the awards-season lineup.

There’s also plenty here for weekend plans with friends or family. International Women’s Day is marked with a screening of Bend It Like Beckham on 8 March, a timely choice as Australia prepares to host the AFC Women’s Asian Cup later this month. Nostalgia gets its moment too, with Shrek 2 returning on 14 March and Zoolander closing out the month on 29 March.

Moonlight Cinema’s Sydney season runs from Friday 21 November through to Sunday 5 April, with March shaping up as one of its busiest months.

Tickets for all March sessions are on sale now via the Moonlight Cinema website.
