One of Australia’s favourite summer events – Moonlight Cinema – has unveiled its eagerly awaited January movie lineup beneath the stars. And for the first time, the program includes a whole lot of retro classics! Moonlight Cinema is commencing the new year with an impressive roster of preview screenings, summer blockbusters, and cherished nostalgic classics throughout January, February, and March.

Movie enthusiasts can be the first to catch new releases such as Mean Girls (2024), Ferrari featuring Adam Driver and Penélope Cruz, and Argylle starring Dua Lipa and Henry Cavill. The January program also includes a selection of the most talked-about summer movies, including Wonka (with Hugh Grant and Timothée Chalamet), Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn, and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.

The lineup of retro titles include Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Clueless, The Goonies, She’s The Man and The Princess Diaries. 

Located in five of Australia’s most picturesque parklands and outdoor venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth, Moonlight Cinema is the ideal summer evening activity.
