Mitch Orr is this month’s Two Good Chef of the Month for November. Mitch is head chef at Kiln at Ace Hotel Sydney and passionately presents his innovative culinary style, which seamlessly marries creativity with approachability.
Through the Chef of the Month (COTM) program, social enterprise Two Good partners with top chefs who create delicious menus that are cooked and served at their cafe in Darlinghurst’s Yirranma Place, and are also available to purchase through their catering service. All proceeds from the sales will help at-risk women affected by domestic violence, homelessness and trauma find employment.
Continuing their partnership with Ace Hotel Sydney, Two Good’s current COTM program featuring Mitch Orr follows closely on the heels of their successful inaugural Chef Series event with Julia Busuttil Nishimura at Ace Hotel, which commenced just last week.
Mitch’s menu for Two Good includes a toastie, salad and a sweet treat:
- Mortadella, Provolone & Roasted Pepper Toastie – a deli classic with smoky and sweet roasted marinated peppers and the perfect cheese pull!
- Cucumber, Piel de Sapo & Enoki Salad with Hot & Sour Dressing & Rice Noodles – elegant and rich with a depth of flavour from the addition of black sesame paste, this is not your typical tiramisu!
Mitch’s menu is now available throughout November from Wednesday 1st November at Two Good’s cafe located at 262 Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst, or online.
