OTTO Ristorante is marking 25 years with a spirited new dessert that blends Italian tradition with a playful twist. Boozy Dolci, a limited-edition series of cocktail-inspired cannoli, will roll out at OTTO Sydney and OTTO Brisbane from 24 September through to 28 February. Served from a roaming trolley and crafted to order, these indulgent treats are available à la carte for $14 each.

Created by Sydney Head Chef Richard Ptacnik and Brisbane Head Chef Will Cowper, Boozy Dolci reimagines the classic Sicilian cannoli with flavours inspired by Italy’s iconic liqueurs and cocktails. The line-up includes four distinctive combinations: Nocello with hazelnut pastry cream and savoiardi soaked in walnut liqueur; Aperol with ricotta cream and candied orange peel; Espresso Martini with coffee and Kahlua pastry cream; and Limoncello with ricotta cream, limoncello jelly and lemon zest.

The chefs see Boozy Dolci as a celebration of Italian flavours and personality: a dessert with a spirited edge that’s both refined and playful. Designed as a perfect finale to a harbourside or riverside dinner, the cannoli also pairs naturally with OTTO’s Italian cocktails and digestifs, making them as fitting for aperitivo hour.

The launch is part of OTTO Sydney’s milestone celebrations, which include 25 per cent off à la carte dining from 10 September to 31 October, as well as a refreshed six-course degustazione showcasing some of the restaurant’s greatest hits. Over the past 25 years, OTTO has become a fixture of Sydney dining, known for its harbourfront setting and consistent excellence, while its Brisbane counterpart has built its own loyal following on the river.

Boozy Dolci will be available at OTTO Ristorante Sydney and OTTO Ristorante Brisbane from 24 September to 28 February.
