OUR HOUSE, presented by Perrier-Jouët, is transforming Shell House into a hub of culture and celebration from 8 May 2024. This program, an extension of the acclaimed series from 2022, offers an array of experiences spanning food and wine, music, and the arts. Brett Robinson, owner of Shell House, describes it as a curated festival of collaboration, bringing together esteemed artists, musicians, chefs, and more for a two-month extravaganza.

Highlights include culinary events like ‘Wet, Cold & Delicious’, featuring Tasmanian seafood, and ‘Prime Time’, a showcase of Australia’s best beef. Sushi Oe’s renowned omakase menu and a takeover by Melbourne’s Osteria Ilaria and Tipo 00 promise exceptional dining experiences. Additionally, guests can enjoy the world’s smallest champagne bar and indulge in champagne and caviar pairings.

The OUR HOUSE music program offers a blend of ongoing activities and standout events, many of which are free. Hosted at Sky Bar, it embodies Shell House’s dedication to contemporary and diverse music offerings including:

  • Weeknights featuring live music for free, showcasing soulful bands on Thursdays and Wednesday residencies by Kirin J Callinan and friends, with surprise guest appearances in June.
  • Takeovers by Sydney’s prominent party planners and record labels offer free entry, featuring all-night sets by renowned DJs like Ben Fester and Wax’O Paradiso.
  • Classic Contemporary events, with limited ticket availability, offering an immersive audio experience at Sky Bar. Led by The Shell House Band, these nights feature reinterpretations of iconic artists like David Bowie and Grace Jones. Tickets for these events are $55 each.
  • James Morrison will return to Shell House Dining Room for a special one-night-only jazz dinner show on June 18th, tickets priced at $245 each.

Shell House partners with ARTS-MATTER to unite Australia’s top creative minds, offering cultural enrichment through stimulating experiences. A few of the many highlights to look out for include:

  • REGRESSION.STUDIO presents an innovative art installation at the Clocktower Bar, blending video and multi-chromatic shapes.
  • Jai Winnell showcases large-scale floral installations, epitomizing luxury and refinement.
  • Artist In Residence Workshop with Mikey Freedom offers a hands-on découper class, creating miniature masterpieces.
  • Daimon Downey hosts creative sessions focusing on abstract painting at the Clocktower, complemented by snacks and Perrier-Jouët.
  • ARTS-MATTER collaborates with OUR HOUSE on art installations, street dancers, and more, enriching the cultural landscape.
