Over the next two weekends, Anything But Humble in Alexandria will feature homemade Palestinian pastries by Plate It Forward employee Nehad Jerada. Nehad moved from Palestine to Australia in 2021 due to ongoing conflict and has been working with the Plate It Forward Hospitality Group for a year as the Senior Production Chef.

Nehad has faced hardship with her house in Palestine being a target of a bomb attack, resulting in the loss of over 30 family members. One hundred per cent of the proceeds from the pastry takeover at Anything But Humble will assist Nehad in rebuilding her Palestinian home.
