Wine tasting is evolving, and Penfolds leads the charge with an experience beyond swirling, sniffing, and sipping. Transcend by Penfolds returns to Sydney in May, offering a multi-sensory journey that transforms wine appreciation into an immersive art form.
For 45 minutes, guests will step into a world where storytelling, visuals, and soundscapes intertwine with the flavours of some of the finest wines from Australia, the USA, and France. Guided by the voice of Senior Winemaker, Steph Dutton, the experience builds towards its grand finale—a taste of Penfolds’ legendary Grange, perfectly preceded by a palate cleanser.

The ‘Grange Palate Cleanser’ is a bespoke creation, crafted in collaboration with Penfolds Chief Winemaker Peter Gago and Magill Estate’s Scott Huggins. Featuring Penfolds x Thiénot Rosé Champagne, it’s designed to reset the senses, heightening the anticipation for the final pour.
With sessions running from 2–11 May at Sydney Arcade, 400 George Street, and tickets priced at $150, this is one for wine lovers ready to take their tasting experience to another level.
