The team behind Pleasure Club in Newtown has teamed up with BACARDÍ to launch Tongue Tied, a new late-night series shaking up the city’s weekend rhythm. Running every Sunday from November 2025 through January 2026, it’s a full-throttle celebration of sound, flavour and late-night culture that kicks off at 9pm and rolls through until 4am.

Tongue Tied turns Sunday nights into a revival of Sydney’s golden-era nightlife, where dance floors felt like home and the energy never dipped. Yacht-disco, Italo-house and synth-driven beats will keep the weekend spirit alive.
Opening night lands on 2 November, led by Touch Sensitive, who returns to the stage following his first album in eight years, In Paradise. He’ll be back the following week for an encore, before the series rolls into sets from Art vs Science (DJ Set with Live Elements), OYOBI, and Archil & Leon.
At the bar, BACARDÍ will feature a nostalgic drinks list. You’ll find classics like the BACARDÍ & Coca Cola Cherry alongside creations such as the Lip Service, a heady mix of BACARDÍ White Rum, Mapo Sour Cherry Gelato, Dragonfruit and Amaretto Whip.
Tongue Tied at Pleasure Club runs every Sunday from 2 November 2025 to 25 January 2026 at Basement, 6 Wilson St, Newtown.
