The new eco-conscious bagnum format from Australian wine brand Rewild marks another step in the brand’s commitment to reducing environmental impact while providing convenience to consumers.

Launching with popular varietals like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Shiraz, Rewild’s bagnum is produced by sustainability leader Duxton Vineyards, emphasising minimal intervention and 100 per cent vegan-friendly production.

Each bagnum holds 1.5 litres (equivalent to 2x750ml bottles) and is designed for sharing at gatherings like picnics and BBQs, catering to the increasing demand for sustainable options without compromising on quality or taste. With a significant portion of Australians considering a brand’s social and environmental actions before purchase, and economic pressures influencing consumer choices, Rewild addresses these concerns by providing affordable yet value-aligned options.

The lightweight design of the bagnums reduces environmental impact compared to traditional glass bottles, aligning with Rewild’s mission to minimise its carbon footprint. Additionally, the brand implements various environmental initiatives, including transitioning to 100 per cent renewable energy, adopting regenerative farming practices, water-saving measures, biodiversity management, and abstaining from using animal products.

Paying homage to their home – the vineyards of the Southern Murray Darling in south-eastern Australia – Rewild wines boast flavours reflective of the region’s rich terroir. Through their innovative approach to sustainability and commitment to environmental stewardship, Rewild sets a new standard for eco-conscious wine consumption while staying true to their values of giving back to nature.

Rewild bagnums are available in Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz varietals at Dan Murphy’s from $17.99.

Rewild also has a bottled range including Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Moscato, Rosé, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Fiano, Prosecco, as well as a Red Blend, with this being available exclusively from Dan Murphy’s stores and select BWS stores nationally at a RRP of $9.99.
