Cruising is back and according to cruising giant Royal Caribbean, there is now a trend towards intergenerational holidays, with grandparents, parents and their children booking a cruise – but with a difference. Rather than booking three or four standard cabins, for instance, an entire family may now choose to book the ultimate family suite – the Royal Suite Class that sleeps up to six people. The spacious Royal Suite serves as a central space for families to relax, mingle, dine or just enjoy some downtime on their own private balcony.

Royal Suite Class is available on the following Royal Caribbean Quantum and Oasis class ships: Allure of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Odyssey of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Spectrum of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas and Wonder of the Seas.

Currently, Ovation of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas are sailing out of Australian ports for the 2022/2023 season.

The Royal Suite has a definite wow factor and the only danger of booking one is you’ll probably never want to downgrade – similar to travelling in business class and then having to face economy again. But that aside, it’s an experience and memory that no doubt will live with you and your family for a very long time. Here’s why……
