Mrs Sippy has long been one of Seminyak's best-known destinations, drawing visitors with its lagoon pool, diving platforms, international DJs and all-day atmosphere. Now, the team behind the iconic venue has expanded its footprint with the opening of Sunset Beach, a new beachfront restaurant and lounge overlooking Seminyak Beach.
Located just minutes from each other, the two venues offer distinctly different experiences. One is built around the pool, music and social atmosphere, while the other focuses on beachfront dining, sunset views and open-fire cooking.
Mrs Sippy: Bali's iconic pool club
Approaching its 10th year, Mrs Sippy remains one of Bali's most recognisable pool clubs.
It features a large saltwater lagoon pool, complete with one, three and five-metre diving platforms that have become one of the venue's signature attractions. Around the pool are daybeds, lounges and shaded seating, making it just as suited to spending an afternoon relaxing as it is for groups looking for a livelier atmosphere.

Music has always been a major part of the venue. Over the years, Mrs Sippy has hosted international acts including Dom Dolla, Bonobo, Claptone, Basement Jaxx, Chet Faker, Foster the People, Dizzee Rascal and Lil Pump, cementing its reputation as one of Bali's leading music venues.
The food menu is designed for all-day dining, with pizzas, burgers as well as lighter options. Favourites include the Grilled Salmon Poké Bowl with soy and ginger dressing and the Grilled Octopus served with chimichurri and watercress. Drinks range from frozen slushies to the venue's signature Sippy Colada.
There's also something new this year. Mrs Sippy Racket Club has recently opened, adding pickleball courts and social games to the venue, giving guests another reason to stay beyond the pool.
Entry starts from IDR 100,000 (approximately AUD $10) with daybeds available on a minimum spend (IDR 2,500,000 minimum spend which is approximately AUD $250 and accommodates up to 5 guests).
Sunset Beach: Open-fire dining by the ocean
For those looking for a more relaxed experience, Sunset Beach offers a completely different setting.
Positioned directly on Seminyak Beach, the venue combines beachfront daybeds, open-air dining and uninterrupted views across the Indian Ocean. While sunset is the obvious drawcard, it's equally suited to long lunches or an afternoon by the water.
The venue features ‘The Grill’, where much of the menu is cooked over an open flame. The focus is on seafood, premium meats and generous share plates inspired by coastal cuisines.
Highlights include Grilled Tiger Prawns with chimichurri and lemon, Wagyu Rump Steak with garlic butter and chimichurri, plus larger seafood and steak dishes designed for sharing.
The drinks list features signature cocktails, frozen slushies, local and international wines, beers and non-alcoholic options, with beachfront daybeds available from a minimum spend of IDR 300,000 per person (AUD $30)
Sunset Beach is free to enter, making it an easy option whether you're stopping in for lunch, drinks or sunset.
Which one should you visit?
If you're looking for a classic Bali pool club experience, Mrs Sippy still delivers, with its lagoon pool, diving platforms, music programming and lively atmosphere.
If your ideal afternoon involves beachfront dining, grilled seafood and watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean, Sunset Beach is the better fit.
The good news is that, thanks to their close proximity, you don't necessarily have to choose. Spend the afternoon by the pool at Mrs Sippy before wandering down to Sunset Beach for dinner and one of Seminyak's best sunset views.
