The Charles Bar

The CBD’s European bar a vin, The Charles Bar is launching a free-flow lunch on Saturdays this April for groups of four or more. While a DJ sets the mood with nu-disco tunes, you’ll feast on a three-course shared menu that begins with a selection of five bite-sized snacks including ricotta and spinach gnocchi fritto; warm gougères (French cheese puffs) with Brillat-Savarin cream. Mains include mussel and nduja spaghetti and a dry-aged scotch fillet MBS4 + served with sauce Bordelaise, The Charles’s famed seasoned fries, black oxheart tomato and fig salad. This is followed by a decadent tiramisu for the perfect sweet finish.
