Table Manners will bring a fresh wave of European charm to Bronte when it opens its doors this month. This is the first solo venture for Alex Cameron, a well-known figure in the hospitality scene. He's teamed up with head chef Luke Churchill, formerly of Parlar and Oncore by Clare Smyth, to lead the kitchen.

We won't ask you to leave

Cameron is particularly excited about working with Churchill again. “To work alongside Luke has always been on the agenda, we previously worked together and his talent caught my eye back then. Watching the menu development and creation transition to the plate has been such a great experience. The menu offers many dining options, for all occasions. Pop into the bar for snacks and cocktails or settle into a booth for hours, we won't ask you to leave.”

As a Bronte local, Cameron has a keen understanding of what the area needs. Which is why he has introduced a relaxed venue that emphasises excellent service, great wine, and an approachable menu.

European-inspired menu

The seafood-heavy menu at Table Manners takes its cue from European cuisines, aiming to deliver a laid-back dining experience. Highlights include tuna belly toast, Hervey Bay scallops with nduja butter and macadamia and a Moreton Bay bug club sandwich.

Cameron himself has curated the beverage program, which features a mix of classic and contemporary producers. The extensive 400-bottle wine list offers 30 wines by the glass. Plus there's a BYO option for lunch at $40 per bottle. Signature cocktails include the Dry Negroni, Sgroppino, and the fruit-inspired Indian Summer.

Designed by Blainey North

Designed by acclaimed interior designer Blainey North, a friend of Cameron, Table Manners boasts two distinct areas. The dining room seats 75 guests and features a hand-painted mural by Sydney artist Bec Fernon.

Table Manners is open for lunch from 12pm to 3pm on Fridays through Sundays. Drinks and dinner from 5pm to late, Wednesday through Sunday.
