BrookieFest 2024 will take place over three days in mid-February – a celebration of the Northern Beaches’ lively social, arts, and libation hub. Seven premier establishments in Brookvale’s vibrant brewery and distillery scene will take part in the inaugural festivities.

From Friday, February 9th, to Sunday, February 11th, renowned venues such as Freshwater Brewing Co, 4 Pines, Bucketty’s, Dad & Dave’s, 7th Day Brewery, Manly Spirits Co, and Goodradigbee Distillers will play host to a diverse array of entertaining and quirky activities for all ages. The festivities, running from midday until late each day, aim to showcase the dynamic atmosphere that defines Brookie.

Whether you’re drawn to a silent disco or a BYO vinyl meet-up at Freshwater Brewing, indulging in Daschund racing with the kids at Bucketty’s, or relaxing in a Budgie Smuggler pop-up spa at Manly Spirits Co, there’s something for everyone in this eclectic lineup.

What makes this festival even more enticing is that entry is free, welcoming individuals of all walks of life, including non-alcohol drinkers, to discover the excitement that Brookie has cultivated. Bring your kids and furry friends along for a weekend of joyous festivities.

Friday February 9th:

Grab yourself a $1 coffee from 7am – 10am thanks to the legends at Milk Lab. Shake your rump at the Silent Disco from 6pm. There will be three channels to choose from and 50 headsets to enjoy, plus some solid party tunes for those not participating by Jack Ferris.

Saturday February 10th:

The Cafe is serving up 50 free Dr. Dough doughnuts from 7am. From 2pm there will be back-to-back DJs powered by the legendary Inner West Reggae Disco Machine. The lineup includes Tom Bruce & Cleo, Prop Joe, Delaboss and the Inner West Reggae Disco crew themselves.

Sunday February 11th:

Recover from a huge Saturday with a $20 bacon & egg roll and Mimosa, Michelada or Schooner breaky deal. DJs will also be playing all arvo, but you can BYO vinyl!

To find out what’s going on at each venue over BrookieFest, there will be a digital passport on offer to encourage people to explore all participating breweries and distilleries over the weekend.

The inaugural three-day extravaganza is all about celebrating the community – and the locally-made booze – and is set to be a good time, whether you’re a local or not.
