Wise Wolf Wines, Gonzo Vino and Sun Monkey have all recently released wines, each with its own, unique twist. And all three brands have released an interesting mix of ranges, just in time for summer….
Wise Wolf by Banrock Station ($25)
Wise Wolf by Banrock Station recently announced its 91% recycled glass bottles – one of the most sustainable glass wine bottles launched in the Australian market. It’s looking to tap into the growing demand by consumers for great-tasting wine that comes in packaging that is more environmentally conscious than standard wine bottles.
As well as its environmental credentials, the Wise Wolf range promises to be a hit with wine consumers with discerning palettes, having been crafted from the highest quality grapes by some of the best winemakers in South Australia. Currently, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc and 2023 Chardonnay are available in recycled glass bottles. Shiraz lovers can look forward to their favourite drop in recycled bottles in 2024.
Available in major retailers including Dan Murphy’s, BWS and First Choice from 24th October 2023 and Liquorland from February next year.
Sun Monkey ($25)
Sun Monkey is challenging traditional wine conventions this summer with an innovative collection of wine infused with the flavours of sake. Crafted in the wine regions of South Australia, the freshly launched Sun Monkey range includes a vibrant and fruity Shiraz Grenache, as well as a crisp white blend, ideal for gatherings with friends during the summer.
Both the Sun Monkey Shiraz Grenache 750ml and White Blend 750ml is available at Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores nationally.
Gonzo Vino ($66)
Gonzo Vino, established by ex-sommelier Marcus Radny, is on a mission to make cask wine sexy again. Its newest line of boldly expressive cardboardeaux wines, humorously labelled as Boomer Juice, Splishy Splashy, Get a Grip and Throw Shade embodies a lively and spirited ethos. The wine is produced using quality South Australian grapes.
The range of Mediterranean-inspired goons combines contemporary flavours with eco-friendly packaging and enhanced drinkability, maintaining its freshness for 6-8 weeks after opening.
