The Vivid Sydney lineup for 2024 has been revealed. Kicking off on 24 May until 15 June,  the festival guarantees 23 nights of unforgettable encounters centred around the theme of ‘Humanity,’ explored through Light, Music, Ideas, and Food.

Light installations and 3D projections will once again light up Sydney, stretching from Circular Quay to The Goods Line in Haymarket. The festival will also feature a diverse range of music performances and creative showcases, alongside an impressive Vivid Ideas program aimed at expanding minds. And of course, there will be a Vivid Food to look forward. 

This year’s Vivid Sydney program offers something for everyone, but here’s a taster to give you an idea of what to expect.

Vivid Light:

  • Global Rainbow: Rainbow lasers from Sydney Tower by artist Yvette Mattern.
  • Sydney Opera House Lighting: Featuring works by Archibald Prize winner Julia Gutman.
