The one-off local listening session will launch the album, GENESIS, in Australia by allowing a limited number and fans and industry insiders to experience the album in full, before its official release.
In case you missed it, EDM staple Alison Wonderland has resurrected her alias Whyte Fang, after having it lay dormant since 2011. The result is a genre-bending project that takes an alternative approach to electronic music, fusing elements of industrial, bass, trap, synth, pop and beyond.
“The Whyte Fang beats sit in their own primal world, away from Alison Wonderland, so I’m really excited to give the Australian audience a first listen of the album and introduce them to this different side of me. Shout out to our friends at SOUNDBOKS who will be powering GENESIS start-to-finish on the night, giving it the space and sound to finally be heard,” says Alexandra Sholler from Whyte Fang.
With headline shows in LA and NY complete, and a debut festival performance at Coachella Weekend 1 and 2 up next, the electronic project has launched onto the scene ready to make a mark.
To be one of the lucky, limited number of people able to hear the album the day before its release day, fans will need to RSVP to unlock a secret location. Upon arrival, they’ll enter an intimate, immersive experience designed to transport audiences into the Whyte Fang world via crisp SOUNDBOKS speakers.
Doors will open at 7pm, with a strict 7:30pm start. RSVP to unlock the secret location at eventbrite.com
