Spring: Citrus Sidecar

  • 2 oz Yellowstone bourbon
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar

Method

  • Combine all ingredients in shaker with handful of ice. 
  • Shake until cold. 
  • Strain into cocktail glass over fresh ice. 
  • Garnish, if desired, with lemon slice.

Summer: Mint Melon Mash

  • 2 oz Yellowstone bourbon
  • .5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz mint simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 1 cup (6 oz) cubed watermelon, pureed and strained (yields about ½ cup strained liquid)

Method

  • Combine all ingredients in shaker with handful of ice. 
  • Shake until cold. 
  • Strain into cocktail glass over cracked ice. 
  • Garnish with additional watermelon and mint leaves, as desired.

To make the Mint Simple Syrup: Combine equal parts white granulated sugar and water in small heatproof bowl. Microwave until high until sugar is dissolved, stirring as needed. Add 10-12 torn mint leaves to hot sugar syrup; let cool completely. Strain syrup. Keep refrigerated.

Ingredients 

  • 2 oz Yellowstone bourbon
  • 1.5 oz pear nectar
  • 1 tbsp fig jam/preserves
  • .5 oz simple syrup
  • 2 dashes ground cinnamon

Method

  • Stir over ice. 
  • Strain into lowball glass over large ice cube. 
  • Garnish with dehydrated pears and cinnamon sticks on fire/smoking.

Winter: Espresso Bourbon-tini

Ingredients

  • 1.5  oz Yellowstone
  • 1 oz Irish cream
  • .5 oz ounce brown sugar syrup (recipe below)
  • 2 oz espresso, chilled or cold brew

Method

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with a handful of ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 30 to 45 seconds until very cold.
  • Strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with toasted marshmallow.

To make the brown sugar syrup: Combine equal parts of brown sugar (light or dark) with water in small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely. If desired, stir in 0.5 teaspoon vanilla. Keep refrigerated.
